An excerpt of a letter from a Sandhill Cove Resident -
“Just a note to tell you how much I appreciate your help on Tuesday. I’m not sure that all the residents are aware of the depth of assistance available to us in managing and advocating on our behalf in times when we need medical care but run into obstacles where we don’t know how to cope.
When I called my doctor’s office to ask for an appointment and shared the nature of my problem, the nurse called back and said I should go to the ER since I probably need an ultrasound and the ER could deal with that and treat it. So I called Kim and she said Carolyn would come over within the hour. She came and verified that I did need an ultrasound. She called, scheduled at [the hospital] and asked if I could be [there] by 11 AM. Sure. She then called security and ordered a car which picked me up at 10:30. Had my procedure at 11 AM and was home by noon, thanks to Sandhill transportation. Not only that but Carolyn specified “stat” so results came quickly, How’s that for cutting red tape?
I cannot thank you enough for this service to us and I so appreciate the empathy and compassion that our employees demonstrate when we need it."

An excerpt of a letter from a client -
“Your services have been a blessing, a real blessing! I am walking so much better! I am doing things I haven’t been able to do in a LONG time. Please tell my OT I REALLY miss her – her last visit with me was last week. Ms. Nadine is wonderful. I have been doing all the exercises she showed me to do.
All of your people have been wonderful!! Mr. Ken and Julie have been great with my therapy. Ms. Mary and Ms. Christine have been my nurses and they are so good. ALL of the people have been wonderful! I don’t know what I would have done without them.”
